Eastern Florida State’s Sean Register Jr. Named NJCAA Division I Player of Week For Second Week Straight

Register Jr. is averaging 24.8 points, leading the state and ranking third nationally in scoring

BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – Eastern Florida State College men’s basketball player Sean Register Jr. was named the NJCAA Division I Player of the Week on Wednesday.
The freshman forward had another big week for the Titans, scoring 30 points in a win over nationally-ranked Daytona State College, and then had 27 points, including the eventual game winner, against Miami Dade College on Saturday.
The freshman averaged 28.5 points and 11 rebounds last week and has now scored at least 21 points in eight straight games.
For the season, Register Jr. is averaging 24.8 points, leading the state and ranking third nationally in scoring. He is also averaging 8.8 rebounds per game this season.
It is the second time this season that Register Jr. has been named the NJCAA Division I Player of the Week.
Register, and the men’s basketball team will be at home tonight against Santa Fe College at 7:30 p.m., and again on Saturday against Florida Southwestern State College. Saturday’s game will begin at 4 p.m.
