Boil Water Notice Lifted for Mims Water Service Area After Main Break Repairs

The precautionary boil water notice issued on Feb. 19 for customers in the Mims water service area has been lifted.

BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – The precautionary boil water notice issued on Feb. 19 for customers in the Mims water service area has been lifted.

The notice applied to residents on the following streets: Black Gum Drive, Burrowing Owl Drive, Caspian Road, Center Street, Clubhouse Drive, Falcon Lane, Fitzroy Reef Drive, Folsom Road, Hill Street, the I-95 Rest Area at Mile Marker 225 Northbound, Indian River Parkway, Loggerhead Lane, West Main Street, Morrow Place, Palm Avenue, Pecan Street, Pine Avenue, Pramuk Lane, Quantum Place, Sanctuary Drive, Sandhill Crane Circle, Spruce Street, Starling Place, Sweet Bay Drive, Tangerine Street, Tupelo Avenue, Weatherby Lane, Woodland Court, and Wren Trail.

The notice was issued following a water main break on Indian River Parkway. Repairs have been completed, and bacteriological testing confirms the water now meets safety standards and is safe to drink.
