BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA — Sophomore infielder Bryce Jackson of Eastern Florida State College has been named the Florida College System Activities Association (FCSAA) Division I Player of the Week following an impressive stretch at the plate that helped lead the Titans to a key series victory.
Jackson earned the weekly honor on Tuesday after a standout performance in a series against Hillsborough Community College, where Eastern Florida State took two of three games.
The Titans’ infielder finished the week going 6-for-14 at the plate across four games, scoring nine runs and driving in seven while also adding two stolen bases.
After starting the week with a 0-for-3 outing, Jackson rebounded in dominant fashion during the Hillsborough series, going 6-for-11 and playing a major role in the Titans’ offensive surge.

Jackson and the Titans will return to action Thursday when they travel to face Florida Southwestern State College in a Citrus Conference series. The opener is scheduled for 3 p.m. in Fort Myers, with a doubleheader set for Saturday beginning at noon at Bruce Bochy Field.
