SHERIFF IVEY: Perp has lengthy history of driving while his license is suspended, other traffic offenses and a smorgasbord of arrests
SHERIFF WAYNE IVEY: Gregory Kemp was pulled over for going 101 mph on Interstate 95. Unfortunately for “Professional Driver” Kemp, the only thing he appears to be a professional at is breaking the law: he has a lengthy history of driving while his license is suspended, other traffic offenses, and a smorgasbord of arrests.
BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – It was an unfortunate day on Saturday as one of our Deputies had to arrest a professional driver, that’s right, a “professional driver” for violating Florida’s Super Speeder law!
Earlier this Saturday morning, Gregory Kemp was pulled over for going 101 mph on Interstate 95.
After being pulled over by Deputy Patterson, Kemp informed him that he was a professional driver and was speeding because he needed to go to…you guessed it…the bathroom.
Well, unfortunately for “Professional Driver” Kemp, that excuse doesn’t quite earn you a get-out-of-jail-free card, as we’ve heard that one just once or twice before!
And if we’re being honest here, the only thing Kemp appears to be a professional at is breaking the law: he has a lengthy history of driving while his license is suspended, other traffic offenses, and a smorgasbord of arrests.
I’m sure we could all be considered professional drivers at this point in our lives, but that doesn’t give you the right to drive like a maniac, putting so many lives at risk, and then try to justify it with a crappy excuse!
The good news is that Kemp now has immediate access to a toilet and likely won’t violate any speeding laws getting to the potty at Ivey’s Iron Bar Lodge.
Of course, the only thing that may hold him back is if they are all occupied by his new cellmates, who, as luck would have it, are all professionals, too.
Drive safely in Brevard County, or else you go straight to jail!
