Eastern Florida State College Baseball Looks to Rebound With Conference Matchup Series vs Santa Fe College

Admission is free to games at Bruce Bochy Field

BREVARD COUNTY • MELBOURNE, FLORIDA – The Eastern Florida State College baseball team will begin a three-game conference series with Santa Fe College on Thursday.

The Titans will travel to Santa Fe Thursday in a Citrus Conference game before coming to Bruce Bochy Field for a conference doubleheader Saturday beginning at 1 p.m.

Eastern Florida State College is looking to get on track after falling on Tuesday and is 9-18 in the conference.

Andrew Prieto is hitting .352 this season in 36 games and has driven in 30 runs. Teammate Jackson Wargo is hitting .326 while Bryce Jackson leads the team with 34 RBI.

Santa Fe comes into the contest 8-19 and are coming off an 11-7 win at St. Petersburg last weekend. The Saints are led by Ryan Chase who comes into the game hitting .403 in 42 games with six home runs.

Thursday’s game at Santa Fe will begin at 3 p.m. with the doubleheader Saturday at Bruce Bochy Field scheduled to start at 1 p.m.
