BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – Well, folks…it’s Super Speeder Saturday with Deputy McLaughlin, and boy, do we have ourselves some great contestants.

First up, we have Tikierra Jerry from Darlington, South Carolina, who was clocked going 111 MPH coming into the county at 5 A.M. Once stopped, she handed Deputy McLaughlin a passport, stating that she forgot her driver’s license in South Carolina.

Unlucky for her, Deputy McLaughlin located it in her front pocket, and here’s a shocker…it was suspended!!

Jerry said she was on her way to catch a cruise out of the Port, but instead she got a different vacation getaway at Ivey’s Iron Bar Lodge where there ain’t no view and the food leaves you not wanting more.

Ultimately, she was charged as a super speeder and driving while her license was suspended with knowledge.

Next up, was Jorge Gonzalez from Orlando, who was southbound on I-95 in the area of Wickham Road when he came speeding up behind Corporal Michael Tarr!!

Gonzalez was clocked at 120 mph while passing other motorists until coming up behind Cpl. Tarr who initiated the stop and was quickly backed up by Deputy McLaughlin!!

The Deputies explained to Gonzalez that driving at 120mph is not only unnecessary, but it’s also a degree of insanity that puts everyone’s life at risk!!

Well, as you might imagine, Gonzalez got one of our guest packages at the lodge that comes with a souvenir photo in digital format, a “pat down” styled massage courtesy of our guest services team, and of course his event T-shirt that says… ”I Messed Around And Found Out In Brevard County!!”

Great job, as always, by Deputy McLaughlin and Cpl. Tarr for working to keep everyone safe in Brevard County!! Just remember folks…This Is Your Only Warning!!
