BREVARD COUNTY • COCOA, FLORIDA –Brevard  County Sheriff’s Office has arrested a Cocoa man and charged him with First Degree Felony Murder and Aggravated Child Abuse.

Charles Leroy Foster of 5255 Burgess Avenue in Cocoa, 23, was arrest for an incident Monday where a 2-year-old girl he was caring for received severe head trauma.

The child was airlifted to Arnold Palmer Children’s Hospital in Orlando where she died Thursday as a result of her injuries after being removed from life support.

During the incident, the girl suffered severe head trauma.

He has been confined to the Brevard County Jail since being arrested the night of the incident for aggravated child abuse.
