RELM Wireless Lands $2 Million Radio Contract

BREVARD COUNTY • WEST MELBOURNE, FLORIDA – RELM Wireless Corporation has received an order from Harris County, Texas for a $2 million contract for portable radios.

The county is purchasing P25 digital 800MHz portable radios from RELM Wireless and includes related accessories and features.

The radios will be deployed for use by county law enforcement professionals in Houston.

RELM Wireless Corporation is headquartered in West Melbourne and has been in business for more than 60 years producing high‑specification two‑way communications equipment.

Its equipment is used by public safety professionals and government agencies, as well as for radios in a wide range of commercial and industrial applications.

RELM’s products are manufactured and distributed worldwide under BK Radio and RELM brand names.

Storey had led RELM Wireless as president and chief executive officer since 2000. He joined the company as executive vice president and chief operating officer in 1998.
