BREVARD COUNTY • MELBOURNE, FLORIDA – Melbourne Police have arrested 48-year-old Rolando A. Valero on Monday for the manufacture of cannabis and possession of more than 20 grams of cannabis.

Melbourne Police Department Special Investigations Unit executed a search warrant on Monday for cultivation/manufacturing cannabis near 4720 Elena Way in Melbourne.

24 cannabis plants approximately five-feet tall were growing indoors in three different rooms which used an elaborate timed lighting and nutrient watering system, yielding potent high quality cannabis.

Police confiscated 24 semi-mature cannabis plants that accounted for 132 pounds in gross weight.

The street value for this amount of cannabis is $50,000.
