Coast Guard Rescues Man After Medical Emergency on Utopia of the Seas Near Cape Canaveral

BREVARD COUNTY • PORT CANAVERAL, FLORIDA – A 52-year-old man was taken to the hospital from Utopia of the Seas located off the coast of Cape Canaveral after he experienced chest pains on board, according to the U.S. Coast Guard Southeast.
The man was listed in stable condition when he arrived at the hospital.
Last month, Port Canaveral welcomed home Royal Caribbean International’s new Utopia of the Seas.
Utopia is the first of its kind to debut with 3-night weekend and 4-night weekday vacations that includes a visit to Royal Caribbean’s award-winning private island in The Bahamas, Perfect Day at CocoCay.
