Manhunt For Armed Robber Intensifies

BREVARD COUNTY • COCOA, FLORIDA – The Brevard County Sheriff’s Office, West Precinct General Crimes Unit is trying to identify a suspect in an armed robbery on  March 15 at the Kangaroo Express, near State Road 520 and Cox Road in Cocoa.

At 10:50 p.m. an unknown black male entered the store and displayed a handgun, pointing it at the clerk and demanded cash from the register.

Following the robbery, the suspect exited the store and fled south on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash.

The suspect is described as a black male in his 20’s, about 6-foot and weighing 170 pounds.

He was wearing a blue hooded sweatshirt, dark pants and black and white NIKE brand sneakers.

The suspect was covering his face with a white cloth and displayed a black semiautomatic handgun during the encounter.
