The festival will take place at the Merritt Island Veterans Memorial Amphitheater, 555 Fortenberry Road in Merritt Island.

The Space Coast Boots, Brews, Bourbon & BBQ Festival will feature a Southern-style celebration combining slow-smoked barbecue, craft beer and bourbon tastings, line dancing, hayrides, contests, and live music throughout the day.

Molly Hatchet Records New Album at Abbey Road Studios

In a career spanning more than half a century, “Lost Horizon” marks Molly Hatchet’s first full-length studio album in 16 years.

The band recorded all 12 tracks at London’s legendary Abbey Road Studios, including sessions inside Studio 2, the historic recording space famously associated with The Beatles.

The band utilized vintage microphones from the studio’s collection while working with sound engineer Chris Bolster, whose credits include work with Paul McCartney, Elton John and Foo Fighters.

“In Studio 2 at Abbey Road, it was an incredibly emotional experience,” Ingram said. “Working with Chris Bolster and channeling the foundational roots of our music while marching boldly into the future … this is Molly Hatchet 2.0. We are keeping the foundational spirit alive, honoring our values, and bringing that fire straight to the stage.”

What Fans Can Expect at the Festival

Fans attending the festival can expect a setlist featuring some of Molly Hatchet’s best-known Southern rock anthems, including “Flirtin’ with Disaster,” “Dreams I’ll Never See” and “The Creeper.”

The band is also expected to showcase new material from “Lost Horizon,” including lead single “Dixie Highway.”

Molly Hatchet emerged from Jacksonville, Florida, during the 1970s and became one of Southern rock’s most recognizable bands, building a legacy around hard-driving guitars and songs that have remained staples of classic rock radio.

With the band entering a new era behind “Lost Horizon,” its appearance on Merritt Island will give Space Coast fans an opportunity to hear both classic Molly Hatchet favorites and material from the upcoming album.
