BREVARD COUNTY • SUNTREE, FLORIDA – The Brevard Community College men’s golf team kicked off the Spring 2012 golf season with a win in the annual Titan Winter Invitational, hosted at Suntree Country Club in Melbourne, Florida.

Playing host to 11 colleges and fourteen teams the Titans won by five shots over cross town rival Florida Tech, 875 – 880.

Leading after each round, BCC was led by sophomores Bryan Odaiyar and Travis Tolbert, who each scored 220 (four over par) and tied for eighth individually.

Freshman Keith Greene shot 221, tying for 11th place, and sophomores Billy Anderson and Justin Kalanquin each shot 222 to finish tied for 16th.

Joe Sakulpolphazen of Darton Community College took home individual honors after scoring 211 (five under par) for the three rounds.

He bested former Titan (class of 2010) and current Florida Tech Panther team member Christian Westhorpe, who shot 213 to finish second.
