BREVARD COUNTY • BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – American Business Interiors suffered damage from a fire that began in the warehouse on Tuesday evening, April 24, 2012.

Even though there has been extensive damage its “business as usual” for the downtown Melbourne business.

ABI has operated in Brevard for over 40 years.

Due to smoke and water damage in the showroom and office areas, American Business Interiors is temporarily moving operations from their current downtown location to a short-term facility located at 111 New Haven Avenue between Babcock Street and Country Club Boulevard in Melbourne.

ABI has operated in Brevard for over 40 years. Rob Perers, President of ABI, was touched and grateful for the outpouring of support from the community as well its employees.

“We’ve been an institution in this community for many years. The support we’ve received from clients and friends has been overwhelming,” says Perers.

“This is a minor setback. We will continue taking care of our clients and receiving product as usual.”

American Business Interiors is a family owned business and has been leaders in the contract furnishing and commercial interior design industry in Central Florida since 1969.

They offer workplace and workspace solutions providing interior needs for a wide variety industries including government, healthcare, hospitality, education and corporate America.
