Deputies Appeal For Help In Locating Hit And Run Driver

BREVARD COUNTY • CAPE CANAVERAL, FLORIDA – Brevard County Sheriff’s Office investigators are seeking information about a hit and run crash at 7900 North Atlantic Avenue in Cape Canaveral.

The incident happened at about 10:50 p.m. April 4.
Deputies who responded found a green motorcycle had been struck by an unknown vehicle.
The driver of the motorcycle suffered serious injuries and was airlifted to Holmes Regional Medical Center in Mebourne.
As a result of an extensive investigation, members of the Brevard County Sheriff’s Office Traffic Crash Investigation Unit believe the vehicle that struck the motorcycle was a Pontiac Montana minivan.
This minivan sustained extensive front-end damage and would have been missing part of the lower driver side front bumper, fog light assembly and front driver side wheel well liner as a result of the crash.
The Brevard County Sheriff’s Office requests that anyone that may have witnessed the crash or with information concerning the identification of this vehicle or the driver at the time of the crash to call 321-868-1113 or CRIMELINE at 1-800-TIPS (8477).
All calls to CRIMELINE are confidential as callers can remain anonymous and be eligible for a reward of up to $1,000 for information leading to an arrest.
