BREVARD COUNTY • ROCKLEDGE, FLORIDA – Dr. Larry Bishop of MIMA Dermatology Group and Tim Dwight, owner of the Green Turtle Market in Indian Harbour Beach, have been named co-chairs of Grape Escape XI, the annual fundraising event for the Health First Heart Center hosted by the Health First Foundation.

The event, an evening of fine food, wine pairings, and special auctions, will be held on Oct. 13, and organizers have selected Seasons 52 Restaurant in Palm Beach Gardens as this year’s event location.

Last year the charitable fund-raising event was held in Vero Beach at The Moorings Club with more than 250 people attending.

More than $300,000 was raised to purchase the Artis Zeego minimally invasive operating room Imaging System.

This equipment will create a “hybrid OR” that cardiologists and vascular surgeons will use for a variety of procedures.

Dr. Larry Bishop

Bishop served on the committee last year and hosted a 100-point wine dinner for leading sponsors.

This year, the event will include a special dinner the evening prior to the main event for top sponsors.

Bishop’s love of wine and his personal experience with heart disease make him a passionate participant in this annual event.

Tim Dwight

Dwight has served on the Grape Escape Committee for many years, assisting with wine selections and pairings.

He holds designations as a Certificate Level Sommelier and has been recognized as one of 250 persons worldwide to have passed the Certified Wine Educator exams.

Both men are members of the Health First Foundation Board of Directors.

The Health First Foundation works to improve the health and well-being of the Brevard community through raising funds to support the medical programs at Health First’s family of not-for-profit medical facilities, including Cape Canaveral Hospital, Holmes Regional Medical Center, Palm Bay Hospital and Viera Hospital.
