BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA — Ryan “P-Nut” Heal, passed away on April 26, 2012.
Ryan was born at home in Floridana Beach and was a lifelong Florida resident.
For the last year and a half Ryan was “living the dream,” working as a deckhand on Motor Yacht Ohana.
Life as a deckhand suited him because it kept him close to the water and out in the sunshine.
Previous to that he spent 8 years at Carraba’s restaurant in Jacksonville Beach where he also attended University of North Florida.
Ryan had a passion for surfing and loved to travel to find that “perfect” wave. He will be remembered for that passion as well as his loving spirit and wonderful smile.
His generosity extends even into his passing as he had requested to be an organ donor so that others could live on.
Ryan is survived by his father, Bill; mother, Sandy; sister, Hilary; and brothers, Evan and Justin (with wife Sara). Grandmother Hannah Marshall; Aunt, Judy White; Uncles, Ken Gallant, Paul Gallant, David Gallant, and Mark Gallant; and nine cousins.
He is also survived by many lifelong and close friends that were always there for him.
A celebration of his life will be held on Saturday, May 5, 11:00 a.m., at Chapel by the Sea Church in South Melbourne Beach.
A paddle out at Floridana Beach will follow the service.
