The Exchange Club of Sebastian hopes you will come out and join in the fun.  Tournament headquarters is Capt’n Butcher’s Waterfront Resort Seafood Grille & Bar on Indian River Drive in Sebastian.

Even if you don’t fish, there is something for everybody: raffles, 50/50, t-shirts, and lots of give-aways.  However, if you DO fish, there’s the chance of winning a portion of the $14,000 guaranteed purse.

The Exchange Club of Sebastian is all about helping kids.  The Blue Water Open is the Exchange Club of Sebastian’s biggest fundraiser of the year.

Profits from this event go to deserving charity organizations throughout our community, including but not limited to Yellow Umbrella Child Abuse Prevention Center, CASTLE, Youth Guidance, Boys & Girls Clubs, and Hibiscus Children’s Center.

Preventing Child Abuse

Through this event, almost $260,000 has been donated to promote the prevention of child abuse and foster children and youth activities.  Barbara Schlitt Ford, Executive Director of Youth Guidance states, “The Sebastian Exchange Club has been a tremendous supporter of Youth Guidance for many years.

Through their consistent generous monetary assistance and volunteerism, our program has been able to provide thousands of disadvantaged youth in Indian River County unforgettable experiences and lifetime friends.”

Elizabeth Thomason, Executive Director of Boys & Girls Club of Indian River says, “The Exchange Club of Sebastian has been an important supporter of the Boys & Girls Club since 2006.  In that time, they have given almost $40,000 to support programs at the Sebastian and Fellsmere Clubs. This group has so much energy and passion!  We are so fortunate to have their support.”

Generous Sponsors

The event is made possible by the generosity of sponsors Iincluding TD Bank, Tiki Bar & Grill in Sebastian, CSIS, Inc., Sebastian River Medical Center, The Old Fish House Bar & Grill, CARP Industries, Complete Electric and St Lucie Battery & Tire.

Because of them and many more like them, and because fishermen turn out to fish the tournament, Sebastian Exchange is able to help so many kids in our community.
