BREVARD COUNTY • WEST MELBOURNE, FLORIDA – Local manufacturer RELM Wireless Corporation has announced that it team up ARINC Incorporated as a supplier of digital two-way radio equipment for a new planned emergency radio system in Lancaster County, Pa.

ARINC will replace Lancaster County’s current system with one that is state-of-the-art, which will allow local emergency responders to communicate with each other during an incident, as well as with responders from Chester County, Pa. and Maryland.

The ARINC system will support the radios of multiple manufacturers, including RELM.

“Hundreds of police, fire and emergency medical responders must be able to rely on a radio system that supports their life-saving work,” said ARINC’s Senior Director of Public Safety Communications Marvin Ingram. “Not only will the system we build support their mission, but we will help do it in a responsible, cost-efficient way for the taxpayers of Lancaster County.”

RELM President and Chief Executive Officer David Storey said his company is enthusiastic about this opportunity.

“We are pleased to work with such a high-caliber and capable system provider in ARINC,” Storey said. “We are also excited at the prospect of having our products fulfill the land mobile radio communications requirements for ARINC and Lancaster County.

“We believe our products offer an exceptional value proposition, combining world-class performance at an attractive cost that can enhance the project’s objectives,” Storey said.
