Ophthalmology Academy Recognizes Dr. Gladnick

BREVARD COUNTY • PALM BAY, FLORIDA — Dr. Marshall Gladnick has been named a Life Fellow of the American Academy of Ophthalmology.

Based in San Francisco, the AAO is the largest national membership association of Eye M.D.’s.

This is another accolade for the well-respected Palm Bay opthalmologist, who is also a member of the Brevard Physicians Network.  Over the years, Dr. Gladnick has served as a teacher for the International Eye Foundation (IEF).

As a teacher, he has traveled to more than 100 countries, including England, Scotland, and Germany.  The IEF is an organization that seeks to prevent blindness by sending teaching physicians to developing nations.

Born in New York City, Dr. Gladnick received his medical degree from NY Medical College, graduating among the top ten in his class.

He then completed his internship at Jackson Memorial Hospital in Miami, and served his country as a flight surgeon in Vietnam.

In 1971, Gladnick completed his residency in Ophthalmology from the NY University/Bellevue Hospital Medical Center, which was associated with New York University.

In 2004, Dr. Gladnick opened Glad Eyecare and Aesthetics in Palm Bay.
