Manatees Hosting MLB All-Star Game Event At The Avenue Viera

BREVARD COUNTY • VIERA, FLORIDA — The Brevard County Manatees will host a fun evening of activities at Central Park at The Avenue Viera on Tuesday.

Looking for a great way to watch and celebrate  Major League Baseball’s All-Star Game?

Join the Brevard County Manatees Stars of tomorrow at Central Park at The Avenues, Viera for an evening of baseball centric activities and fun.

The event will kick off at 7:30 p.m. and will feature live pre-game interviews with select Manatees players and coaches, in-between inning contests, autograph signings, speed pitch, cornhole games, Manny the Manatee and more.

All Avenues restaurants and bars are being asked to tune their televisions to the Major League Baseball’s All-Star Game and so the Stars of today will be seen at all locations.

About the MLB All-Star Game

The 83rd Major League Baseball All-Star Game will be televised nationally by FOX Sports, in Canada by Rogers Sportsnet and RDS, and worldwide by partners in more than 200 countries via MLB International’s independent feed.

Pregame ceremonies begin at 7:30 p.m. ET. ESPN Radio and ESPN Radio Deportes will provide exclusive national radio coverage. MLB Network, MLB.com and Sirius XM also will provide comprehensive All-Star Game coverage.

The general public casts the votes for the MLB All-Stars.   Rangers outfielder Josh Hamilton received 11,073,744 votes, shattering the previous record of 7,454,753 set last season by Blue Jays outfielder Jose Bautista.

Hamilton is the third Ranger to finish as the top overall vote-getter in the Majors, following Ivan Rodriguez (2,808,456 in 2000) and Alfonso Soriano (3,466,447 in 2004).
