Manatees Gear Up For Doubleheader

Rain Scrubs Friday's Contest

BRANDENTON, FLORIDA – The scheduled game on Friday between the Brevard County Manatees and Bradenton Marauders at McKechnie Field in Bradenton was by rain and poor field conditions.

The game will be made up as part of a doubleheader today starting at 5 p.m.

Brevard County and Bradenton will play two seven-inning games.

Brooks Hall (3-3, 4.04) will get the ball for the Manatees in the first game of the doubleheader.

In his last six starts, Hall is 3-1 with a 3.22 ERA.

The Marauders will send Matt Benedict (0-3, 8.27) to the hill to oppose Hall in the first game of the twin bill.

Following Saturday’s scheduled doubleheader, the Manatees will travel to Port St. Lucie for a four-game set with the St. Lucie Mets.

Brevard County returns to Space Coast Stadium to open a four-game series with the Palm Beach Cardinals on Thursday.
