Matt Nye

“Brevard is a Republican county, and the fact is most of our races are decided in the primaries, not the general election,” 2012 Picnic Chair Matt Nye said.

“This event gives voters the opportunity to meet and interact with the Republican candidates at every level in a casual, fun and relaxed environment.”

The event will feature guest speakers, entertainment and dozens of exhibitors. Food and drinks will be provided at no charge and admission to the picnic is free.

“This is one of the most important election cycles in the history of our country,” Nye said. “Our goal is to turn out as many Republican voters as possible to ensure they are as well informed as possible before the primaries.”
