Titans competed at the Southern Showcase in Huntsville, Alabama on Friday
The Eastern Florida State College men’s cross country team finished fourth at the Uncle Nick’s Swan City Bagel Run hosted by Florida Southern on Saturday morning.
BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – The Eastern Florida State College men’s cross country team finished fourth at the Uncle Nick’s Swan City Bagel Run hosted by Florida Southern on Saturday morning.
Sophomore Jaiden McKee finished 15th overall for the Titans, running the 6K race in 19 minutes and 19.8 seconds at Holloway Park in Lakeland.
Florida Southern won the event, with Florida Tech finishing second and the University of Tampa third overall.
McKee was the first finisher not running for Florida Southern or Florida Tech on Saturday.
Robert MacDonald finished 32nd overall in the race, finishing in 20:03.2.
Lukas Farley and Logan Saunders crossed together, finishing 51st and 52nd, respectively. Farley finished in 20:52.5 while Saunders crossed in 20:52.6.
Carson Groh wrapped up the scoring for the Titans, placing 55th overall in 20:55.5.
Lucas Raymundo-Wulf crossed in 21:23.2, while Paulos Kicklighter finished in 21:30.9, and Nasir Washington was right behind them in 21:57.2.
Wenn Gilbertson finished in 23:18.0, and Ben Barrera had a time of 23:29.2, while Caleb Waluda crossed in 23:47.5. Michael Quint (24:55.3) and Gabriel Nix (38:31.5) also finished for the Titans on Saturday.
“We are definitely better than what we ran, but I give us a B+ today,” Eastern Florida State College men’s cross country coach Doug Butler said.
“We had one guy sick, so I think we will have a much better day in a couple of weeks in Huntsville.”
The men’s cross country team will compete at the Southern Showcase in Huntsville, Alabama on Friday, September 18.
