Armed Robber Holds Up Rockledge Grocery

BREVARD COUNTY • ROCKLEDGE, FLORIDA – Rockledge Police are searching for a man who robbed an Aldi Supermarket at gunpoint.

Rockledge Police Department public information specialist Michael Cadore said at about 9:15 p.m. Wednesday, officers were summoned to the Aldi Supermarket at 628 Barnes Boulevard regarding an armed robbery.

Cadore said the suspect at gunpoint took an undisclosed amount of currency from an Aldi’s employee contained in the store’s safe.

The suspect then exited from the rear door of the store.

Video surveillance revealed the suspect was a white male about 5-foot-11 and weighing between 170 and 180 pounds.

He is about 20- to 30-years-old and was wearing a black hat, black shirt, blue jeans, black shoes and a pair of black gloves.
