BREVARD COUNTY • VIERA, FLORIDA – Early voting for the Aug. 14 Primary Election will begin today on the Space Coast.
Brevard County Supervisor of Elections Lori Scott said Early Voting for the Primary Election will be available starting today and running through Aug. 11.
“The law governing Early Voting changed last year,” Scott said. “Due to the reduction of the number of days I can conduct Early Voting and Brevard’s historical Early Voting turnout, I have expanded our Early Voting locations outside the five Election Offices to include the Melbourne, DeGroodt, and Melbourne Beach Libraries.”
Voters can take advantage of Early Voting at any of the eight locations throughout Brevard County on weekdays from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. and on weekends from 8 a.m.to 4 p.m.
Scott said voters are encouraged to wear comfortable shoes and to carry water as Early Voting wait times can fluctuate.
A list of wait times is available online at the www.VoteBrevard.com website.
