BREVARD COUNTY • PALM BAY, FLORIDA –It’s good news for Florida Institute Of Technology.

The university has announced that the city of Palm Bay’s Bayfront Community Redevelopment Authority has voted unanimously to provide a Targeted Incentive Grant in the amount of $7,881 to the school for renovation of its River’s Edge property.

The property is at 4400 N.E. Dixie Highway.

A charter school previously occupied the 40,000-square-feet building prior to its acquisition by Florida Tech.

The university expects to move into the site next spring once the renovation work has been completed.

Florida Tech University Online and the Department of Extended Studies will occupy the building.
