Brevard County Supervisor of Elections Lori Scott said that 5 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 9 is the deadline to register to vote for the Nov. 6, election.

Scott said that Voter Registration Applications received after Oct. 9 will be processed, but those voters will not be eligible to vote Nov. 6.

The general election is open to all voters regardless of their political party affiliation.

“The General Election ballot is a lengthy two-page four-sided ballot that includes 11 proposed amendments to the Florida Constitution,” Scott said. “Voters may wish to make their mail box their ballot box and vote by mail.”

Mail/Absentee Ballots may be requested by calling 321-633-2127 or by visiting http://votebrevard.com/.

Voter Registration Applications are available at all five Election Offices in the county and on the http://votebrevard.com/ website.
