Kickoff finally arrives at 8:21 p.m. Melbourne gets ball first and drives for a first down early.

Palm Bay’s Derylton Hill picks up Melbourne fumble on Pirates 2-yard line and races for a 98-yard TD. Palm Bay ahead 7-0. 

Leroy Berry runs for 7-yard Palm Bay TD, capping a 92-yard drive. Pirates ahead 14-0 in Quarter 2.

Caleb Alves TD pass reception from Brian Fallace.

Berry runs for another Palm Bay TD. Now 27-0 Palm Bay.

BJ Ross 25-yard INT TD. Now 34-0 Pirates.

Back and forth defensive struggle. Each team having trouble moving the football.

Rockledge blocks Satellite punt and recovers in end zone for a  TD. Rock ahead 7-0

Rockledge gets a huge defensive play from former youth football star Teodoro Rodriguez, who steps in front of a Satellite pass and runs it in for a Rockledge TD right before halftime. 14-0 Raiders.

Alex Adler throws a 70-yard TD pass to receiver Joe Brown, now 20-0 Raiders.

Joey Hibbard scores on a 20-yard TD reception from Cole Schell. About 9 minutes left and Rockledge leads 20-7.

• BAYSIDE 49, EAU GALLIE 11 (FINAL)

Crowd arriving late as rain subsiding.

Roger Bush scores on 2-yard TD run. 14-0 Bears.

Darian Andre gets third TD of night for Bayside on a 1-yard run. 21-0 Bears in Quarter 1.

Gerry McClisse scores on a 55-yard interception return for Bears, now 28-0 Bayside. 

Back up QB Darian Andre scores again on 6-yard run, now 35-0 Bayside.

Kelvin Pruitt runs an end-around for a 54-yard Commodore gain. It leads to a 29-yard  Eau Gallie field goal. Now Bayside 35, Eau Gallie 3.

Lucious McKay leads Bayside on an 80-yard drive and takes it in himself for a 7-yard TD. Now 42-3 Bears.

McKay passes for a 37 yards for TD to Cory Schick. It’s now 49-3 Bayside approaching halftime. 

Running clock begins entering Quarter 4.

Eau Gallie’s Pruitt runs for a 28-yard TD, then scores a 2-point conversion to make it 49-11 Bears.

• HERITAGE 28, PORT ST. LUCIE 10 (FINAL)

Josh Gaines scored on 25 run with 9:23 left in first quarter. 7-0 Panthers.

Heritage scores again with 4:13 left in first quarter on Dedric Witherspoon’s 1-yard run 14-0 Panthers.

Port St. Lucie  scores 10 unanswered second-quarter points to cut Panthers lead to 14-10. 

Storm delay with 6:08 left in Quarter 2.

Game is resuming in Quarter 2 following long rain and lightning delay.

Still 14-10 Heritage at halftime.

Josh Gaines scores on 18-yard and 20-yard runs. Panthers lead 28-10.

• MCC 0, FIRST ACADEMY 0  (postponed)

Kick off is delayed indefintely as strong storms roll through the area. Start time should be announced soon.

Game will be played at 10 a.m. Saturday because of wet field conditions and thunderstorms in Orlando.

• FLORIDA AIR 62, FATHER LOPEZ 42 (FINAL)

Josh Denton scores for FAA on 3-yard run. 7-0 Falcons.

Hndre Pound intercepts a pass and scores TD now 13-6 FAA ahead with 4:47 left in first quarter.

Denton scores again on 1-yard run.

Ryan Riemer 62-yard punt return TD, now FAA leads 26-6.

Dwayne  Robinson runs for a TD, almost halftime and FAA ahead 32-13.

Alex Buie scores on 20-yard ruin for Falcons. Dwayne Robsinson hits Ryan Riemer for a 2-point conversion, now FAA ahead in Quarter 4, 46-29.

Robinson passes to Riemer for TD, Denton runs in 2-point conversion. Falcons lead 54-36.

Buie runs 62 yards for another FAA TD. Now 62-42 Falcons ahead.

• ASTRONAUT 28, SPACE COAST 7 (FINAL)

 

Nick Rittenhouse gets Vipers on scoreboard with a TD pass. 7-0 Space Caist.

War Eagles score on a 90-yard run by Brandon Wright, 7-6 Vipers approaching end of first quarter.

Wright runs for 80–yard TD, 14-7 Astronaut.

Jamal Lloyd scores on a 30-yard brakaway run for War Eagles. Now 21-7 Astronaut.

Loyd runs 92 yards for TD early in third quarter, War Eagles rolling, 28-7.

• HOLY TRINITY 14, TRINITY PREP 6 (FINAL)

Joe White scores for the Saints on a fourth-down-and-inches 1-yard run to take a 6-0 lead with 5:03 left in first quarter. PAT was blocked.

Teams called off field when lightning was observed in area. Expect at last a 30-minute delay, still in Quarter 1.

In second quarter, Holy Trinity’s Nick Hamer run for a 4-yard TD, kick fails and it 6-6 at half.

Niether team able to generate any offense in third quarter, still tied 6-6 going into Quarter 4.

Johnny Gomez scores winnign TD on 3-yard run with 2:51 left and Hamer runs in 2-point conversion as Tigers win again.

• COCOA 28, WARNER CHRISTIAN 0 (FINAL)

The Cocoa Tigers are looking strong and lead at the half 21-0. Jaelen Knowles has played flawlessly so far as Cocoa also has played lock box solid defense.

Tigers play ball control and eat up much of the clock in Quarter 3, Cocoa leads 21-0 entering Quarter 4.

• MERRITT ISLAND 38, TITUSVILLE 0 (FINAL)

Nic Smith runs 22 yards for a Mustangs TD, then minutes later Merritt Island tuns a turnover into a field goal and a 10-0 lead.

Smith passes for a 15-yard TD to back Taquan Kelly, Merritt Island now ahead 22-0.

Mustangs get a safety and lead 24-0 just before halftime. 

Nic Smith hits Johnny Batch for a 67-yard TD pass. 31-0 Mustangs.

• BISHOP MCLAUGHLIN 17, MERRITT ISLAND CHRISTIAN 0 (FINAL)

Game now in second quarter with no score. Few fans here as it’s been a slow and steady drizzle. Very muddy field conditions and tough traction.

7-0 Bishop McLaughlin leads at halftime. Ground game mighty for Bishop McLaughlin.

Field goal gives Bishop McLaughlin a 10-0, followed by a short TD run several minutes later. Going into Quarter 4, its MICS trails 17-0.

• COCOA BEACH 31, FERNANDINA BEACH 21 (FINAL)

David Dessent threw a 41-yard TD pass to Matt Riley to put Cocoa Beach up 6-0. The extra point kick failed.

Jamaal Eveillard 67-yard TD run and then Eveillard runs for 2-point PAT. 14-0 Minutemen.

David Dessent throws a  7-yard TD pass for Cocoa Beach. Kick good. Now Cocoa Beach leads 21-0.

Chandler Myron 25-yard field goal and Cocoa Beach leads at halftime 24-7.
