Free Parenting Workshop Saturday In Viera

BREVARD COUNTY • VIERA, FLORIDA – The 7th annual “Parenting in Today’s World” workshop offered by Brevard Public Schools is here.
The free workshop will be held from 8 a.m. to noon Saturday in the Brevard County School Board building at 2700 Judge Fran Jamieson Way in Viera.
Sharon Tolson, Director of FDLRS (Florida Diagnostic and Learning Resource System), will be the keynote speaker and present her inspiring talk called “Enjoy the Parenting Journey.”
Tolson will provide practical and inspiring information to help parents navigate the twists, turns, and bumps on the road of parenting.
Following the keynote address, those attending will be able to attend two breakout sessions.
Breakout session titles include:
• What your teen wants you to know
• The single parent journey
• Fathering: Mission Possible
• Raising a healthy, happy child
• Social skills and school success
• Why does my child act that way
• The art of setting limits
