BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – Never before has this happened in Brevard: Gators and Seminoles working together for a worthy cause.
The Brevard County Gator and Seminole clubs have teamed up for the inaugural “Brevard Rivalry Run,” two mile fun run/walk. The “Battle for Brevard” race will be directed by Running Zone.
The race will be held at 5:45 p.m. Nov. 16 in Wickham Park at the BCC Pavilion and will be followed by Brevard’s largest tailgate party.
This event will kick off rivalry week, leading up to the highly anticipated UF-FSU football game.
The Brevard Rivalry Run needs sponsors and donors to make this a successful event.
“Sponsors are an integral part of our operation,” said Alexis Haber, Race Director.
“We rely on sponsor donations to finance most of the race operating costs, so that the proceeds from the runner/walker registration can be passed on to both clubs’ scholarship programs.”
Several sponsor packages are available providing sponsors with significant market exposure. Sponsors will be featured on web media, press releases, printed signs, race day announcements, and t-shirts to publicly thank our sponsors for their contribution.
Approximately 1,000 runners and walkers will participate in this year’s race, with marketing materials reaching a local alumni and fan base over 18,000 strong. People of all ages and schools can support this event as sponsors, donors or participants.
To sponsor the event, make a donation or for any questions contact Alexis Haber at BrevardRivalryRun@gmail.com
