In his new role, he oversees all golf operations at IRCC, including private lessons, Pro-Shop sales, tournament scheduling and more.

A member of the PGA, Imondi is an experienced teacher and an expert at club fitting and is one of only two lead members for the luxury Callaway Golf brand in Florida.

IRCC sports a challenging 18-hole, par 72 course nestled among natural preserves, lakefront and golf course homes.  The “Place Patriots Call Home” is a fully maintained and gated neighborhood of nearly 800 homes on 453 acres.

From the outset, Imondi said he was impressed with the quality of the golf amenities and the enthusiasm of the IRCC members.

“The people are wonderful and it’s easy to see why they’re proud of this beautiful facility,”  Imondi said. “Each hole is designed for scenic beauty, all shaped around water features. But it’s a challenging, shot-maker’s course.”

Eight public tournaments are scheduled for play at Indian River Colony Club through November.
