Titans Triumph Over Middle Georgia College

BCC Now 10-1 In Women's Soccer

BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – Brevard Community College women’s soccer team made the most of Sophomore Day, with a resounding 4-0 win over Middle Georgia College Sunday at Max K. Rodes Park in West Melbourne.

The win marked BCC’s eighth win in a row and brings the #2 nationally ranked Titans to a mark of 10-1 on the year.

Sue Kumaning had 2 goals and an assist to lead the Lady Titans. Courtney Hueston and Palm Bay High graduate Katlyn Bales each added a goal for BCC.

Gaby Jaimes and Merritt Island High’s Chelsea Seng each had an assist as well for BCC and goalkeepers Julia Kantor and Katelyn Kern combined for the shutout.

BCC concludes the regular season with road matches against Dakota County Technical College of Minnesota at 4 p.m. Oct. 20 at Polk; at Polk State at 7 p.m. Oct. 23 and at conference and region foe Broward College at 3 p.m. on Oct. 26.

The Titans then travel to Mississippi on Nov. 3 for the district final to play for a spot in the NJCAA national tournament from Nov. 11 to 17 at Melbourne Central Catholic High School.
