Vicky Hurst’s Holy Trinity Golf Tournament Nears

BREVARD COUNTY • MELBOURNE, FLORIDA – Vicky Hurst, LPGA star and Holy Trinity Class of 2008, will be helping support Holy Trinity Episcopal Academy’s annual golf tournament.

This year’s tournament will also be recognizing Headmaster Cathy Ford’s 25 years with the school and her pending retirement.

The golf tournament will be held at Suntree Country Club on Saturday, Dec. 1.

All of the proceeds will go toward athletic programs at the school.

Hurst started playing professionally during her senior year at Holy Trinity.

She on the Futures Tour qualifying school event in Nov. 2007 and joined the Futures Tour following her graduation in 2008.

Hurst won five times on the Futures Tour and began playing inn the LPGA Tour in 2009.

She completed her rookie season on the LPGA Tour with leading the field in driving distance with an average distance of 272.5 yards.
