The event starts at 6:30 p.m. from the BCC Palm Bay Campus.

There are three representatives from Health First Palm Bay Hospital sharing the grand marshal duties — Crystal Dickerson, Saurette Dorjuste and Diane Stidham.

In addition, the Palm Bay mayor, Palm, Bay City Council members and the Palm Bay Idol singers will be at the reviewing stand at 580 Malabar Road to open the festivities.

This is a family event with a three-mile parade route to usher in the holiday season.

The parade route begins on San Filippo Drive at BCC Palm Bay and heads north to Malabar Road then west to Eldron Boulevard.

Dozens of brightly decorated floats will light up the night interpreting this year’s theme of “Inside Santa’s Workshop.”

Local school marching bands will add to the excitement as they entertain spectators young and old.
