Palm Bay Heritage Festival Returns Friday

Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church Hosts Event

BREVARD COUNTY • PALM BAY, FLORIDA – Our Lady of Grace Catholic Parish of Palm Bay is inviting the community to its 13th annual Heritage Festival this weekend.

The event will be held Friday, Saturday and Sunday, Feb. 1 to 3.

Highlights include a casino night, bake sale, book sale and the popular Taste of Grace, a food-tasting event that showcases the many ethnicities of this church.

Festival hours are 5 to 10 p.m. Feb. 1, noon to 10 p.m. Feb. 2, and noon to 8 p.m. Feb. 3.

Visitors will find carnival rides, food and craft vendors, free entertainment and drawings for a variety of themed gift baskets all weekend.

Casino Night is new this year and will be from 6:30 to 10 p.m. Friday, Feb. 1 in the parish hall. Participants, who must be 18 years or older, pay $25 for $500 value in chips. Prizes at the end of play will be auctioned for the chips as there will be no cash prizes.

The Taste of Grace will be from noon to 2:30 p.m. in the parish hall on Feb. 3 and includes a variety of Caribbean, European, South American and tasting tables for other cuisines. Tickets for samples are $1 and $2.

“I never miss this event. Nowhere else have I sampled such a wide variety of delicious food from so many cultures at so little cost,” said parishioner Karen Rhine.

Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church is at 300 Malabar Rd. S.E. in Palm Bay.
