BREVARD COUNTY • TITUSVILLE, FLORIDA – Families across North Brevard are invited to enjoy an afternoon of free bowling, community fun and some friendly competition as local first responders hit the lanes Friday, Aug. 7.
The family-friendly event will be held from 1 to 4 p.m. at River Lanes Entertainment Center, located at 800 Cheney Highway in Titusville.
The event will bring together the Titusville Police Department, Titusville Fire Department, Mayor Andrew Connors and the Titusville Police Athletic League for an afternoon designed to connect families with community leaders and first responders.
One of the highlights will be a head-to-head bowl-off between Titusville police officers and firefighters, with both sides hoping to claim bragging rights.
TPD says the friendly trash talk has already begun and teased that its team may have a few “secret bowling ninjas” ready for the showdown.
In addition to the competition, families will have an opportunity to enjoy free bowling and spend time with members of the agencies that serve the Titusville community.
Space is limited, and participants are encouraged to secure their spot in advance by completing the online registration form.
The Titusville Police Department thanked River Lanes Entertainment Center and Palm Point Behavioral Health for partnering with local agencies to make the event possible.
