Extreme Allstars Finish Strong In Titans Event

Two Squads Earn Bids To World Competition
BREVARD COUNTY • MELBOURNE, FLORIDA – A determined group of cheerleaders from Brevard County drew national recognition for their abilities in competition earlier this month.

The Extreme Allstars cheer and dance teams all finished in the top three at the Clash of the Titans Cheer and Dance National competition held in Orlando over the weekend of April 5 and 6.
Team dance awards included:
• 1st place, Open Co-Ed: They also won an award for Outstanding Choreography and a partially paid bid to the USASF Worlds competition invite only international competition. This team received 2nd place the Worlds competition in 2012.
• 1st place, Senior Co-Ed: they also won a bid to the USASF Worlds competition.
• 1st place, Senior Hip Hop Dance: This team won the Worlds Competition in 2012.
• 1st place, Youth Hip Hop Dance
Team cheer awards included:
• 1st place, Senior White
• 1st place, Senior Orange
• 2nd place, Junior Purple
• 3rd place, Senior Purple
• 3rd place, Youth Orange
“This was the first time in a few years that we competed in Varsity’s Clash of the Titans competition,” said Mandy Field, Extreme Allstars coach and owner. “The competition was tough and all of our athletes performed incredibly. We are very excited about receiving two bids to The USASF Worlds Competition. We will go head to head with dance teams from all over the world and we are going to try to bring home the coveted title again this year.”
Extreme Allstars is a competitive cheerleading and hip hop dance program based in Melbourne for both girls and boys.
It was founded in 1998 by Field and has programs for ages 4 to 18 and offers both competitive and recreational teams. Its coaching staff is dedicated and has more than 75 years combined coaching experience.
All coaches are certified Level 5 by the U.S. All Star Federation and believe in developing youth by building self esteem, teamwork, integrity and coaching our athletes to their highest potential. Extreme Allstars athletes are trained in a state-of-the-art facility that includes two full size springboard floors, a foam floor, a rod tumbling strip, tumble track and air track.
The Extreme All-stars next competition will be at the American Cheer Power Tournament of Champions this weekend at the University of South Florida Sun Dome.
