Congressman Bill Posey Responds to GAI Report on President Barack Obama’s Vacation Time vs. Economic Meetings
According to a new report by the nonpartisan Government Accountability Institute (GAI), President Barack Obama has spent over twice as many hours on vacation and golf (976 hours) as he has in economic meetings of any kind (474.4 hours).

I have given the pay increase back every year – and pay for my own vacations. I paid my own way, $16,000 including my share of the security cost, for the fact-finding trip to Israel. Seeking solutions to the many challenges facing America is my top priority and very time consuming. When I get infrequent time off, I spend it with my family. Enough said, I’ve got to get back to work…”
