Help Sheriff Identify Merritt Island Armed Robber

BREVARD COUNTY • MERRITT ISLAND, FLORIDA – Brevard County Sheriff’s Agents are seeking clues to the identity of the suspect accused of kidnapping and robbing a Merritt Island woman at gunpoint by forcing her to take money out of a Merritt Island bank.
The Brevard County Sheriff’s Office released today this composite sketch of the suspect. He has been described as a white male in his early 20’s wearing a white shirt, black pants, black baseball cap, had some facial hair and thin build, according to the Brevard County Sheriff’s Department.

BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – The Brevard County Sheriff’s Office is currently investigating an armed robbery that occurred at the AFLAC Insurance Office located at 2094 N. Courtenay Parkway in Merritt Island, according to the Brevard County Sheriff’s Department.

At approximately 9:55 a.m. today, a white male in his early 20’s entered the business. The suspect bound the employee, taking the victim at gunpoint in the victim’s vehicle and drove to a nearby bank. The suspect then forced the victim to withdraw money and then returned the victim back to the business.
The suspect was wearing a white shirt, black pants, black baseball cap, had some facial hair and thin build, according to the Brevard County Sheriff’s Department.

The suspect then fled the area in the victim’s four door, cream colored, 2003 Mitsubishi Diamante. The vehicle is missing the front bumper and has tinted windows, which are peeling off.
