Sheriff’s Agents Seek Armed Robbery Suspect

Brevard County Sheriff’s Office agents are investigating an armed robbery that occurred last night at the Kangaroo Express at 4775 Fay Boulevard, Cocoa.

BREVARD COUNTY • COCOA, FLORIDA — Brevard County Sheriff’s Deputies are investigating an armed robbery that occurred last night at the Kangaroo Express at 4775 Fay Boulevard, Cocoa.

BREAKING-NEWS-SCD-180-13According to the Brevard County Sheriff’s Office, a black male suspect entered the convenience store, and while making a purchase at the front counter, demanded cash from the clerk. The suspect kept his right hand in his jacket pocket, giving the impression that he had a weapon.

SUSPECT FLED ON FOOT

The store clerk gave the suspect an undisclosed amount of cash from the register and was not injured. The suspect fled the store on foot and headed east towards Adams Avenue.

The suspect is described as a black male, 17 to 22 years of age, approximately 5′-8, weighing between 150 and 170 pounds.

The suspect was last seen wearing blue shorts, black jacket with a white reflective stripe, bright orange Texas Longhorns baseball cap and black and white tennis shoes.
