BREVARD, POLK COUNTY SHERIFF FUGITIVE UNITS COMBINE TO MAKE ARREST

BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA — Jeriod Goodman, who cut off his GPS monitoring device and absconded from Parole this weekend, has been arrested in Polk County, Florida.

According to Brevard County Sheriff’s Office Major Tod Goodyear, Goodman was located and arrested without incident through the cooperative efforts of the Brevard County Sheriff’s Office, Fugitive Unit and the Polk County Sheriff’s Office Fugitive Task Force. Goodman is currently being held in the Polk County Jail on a Brevard County warrant.

“According to a press release from Brevard County Sheriff’s Office Major Tod Goodyear, Terrell was last seen on Saturday, August 3, 2013, at Lot 9, Cocoa, Florida, wearing a white shirt, blue jean shorts, and white tennis shoes. At that time, Goodman cutoff, his court ordered monitoring device and fled the area.

>According to Major Goodyear, Goodman is on parole as a sexual predator for Lewd and Lascivious Battery on a Child. He was released from prison on February, 15, 2013, on parole and was outfitted with a GPS Monitoring System. It is believed that he is in the central Brevard County area.”
