BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – Brevard County’s animal care centers are filled to capacity and in need of food donations from the public.

“You can help out in two different ways,” says Karla Torpy, director of Brevard County Animal Services and Enforcement.
“You can donate some dry food that’s, of course, high in nutrition, or you can come by and adopt a dog or cat so there will be less animals that need to be fed.”
Donations can be dropped off at the South Animal Care Center, 5100 West Eau Gallie Blvd., just west of Interstate 95 and the Renninger’s Super Flea and Farmer’s Market in Melbourne. (See map below)
The North Animal Care Center, located at 2605 Flake Road, just north end of Dunn Airport in Titusville, or at the Animal Services and Enforcement Office at the Viera Government Center, Building A, 2725 Judge Fran Jamieson Way in Viera.
Shelter hours are 12 noon to 6 p.m. Thursday through Tuesday. Shelters are closed on Wednesday.
