The Brevard Veterans Memorial Center will commemorate the 25th anniversary of September 11, 2001, and honor the lives forever changed by that day. The 2026 Brevard County 9/11 Memorial Tribute will start at 6 p.m. and will recognize the firefighters, law enforcement officers, EMS personnel, civilians, and military members who lost their lives on 9/11, as well as those who later suffered from 9/11-related illnesses.
BREVARD COUNTY • MERRITT ISLAND, FLORIDA – The Brevard Veterans Memorial Center will commemorate the 25th anniversary of September 11, 2001, and honor the lives forever changed by that day.
The 2026 Brevard County 9/11 Memorial Tribute will start at 6 p.m. and will recognize the firefighters, law enforcement officers, EMS personnel, civilians, and military members who lost their lives on 9/11, as well as those who later suffered from 9/11-related illnesses.
The Veterans Memorial Park is located at 400 S. Sykes Creek Pkwy., Merritt Island
“We invite all citizens of Brevard County to stand with us for this special uniform ceremony as we remember the lives lost, honor those who answered the call, and ensure their stories are never forgotten. We will never forget,” said a Veterans Memorial Park spokesperson.
Since 1978, the Brevard Veterans Memorial Center and Council have taken on many missions to support over 70,000 Brevard Veterans and their families, as well as to help all citizens and visitors learn firsthand about what U.S. veterans have contributed to make our country great.
