Cagney Garners College Football Post Season Honors

BREVARD COUNTY • INDIALANTIC, FLORIDA – An Ohio Wesleyan University football player from Indialantic has been named to the All-Ohio Division III team as selected by OhioCollegeFootball.com.

Junior tight end Calvin Cagney of Indialantic, who played prep football as an outside linebacker and tight end for Melbourne High School, was named as a first-team All-Ohio selection for the second season in a row.
Cagney had 66 receptions for 721 yards and two scores in 10 games during the 2013 season.
In 2012, his 8 touchdown receptions shared the NCAA Division III lead among tight ends and ranked second overall in the NCAC.
Also in 2012, Cagney tied a school record with 16 receptions for 151 yards and three score in an Oct. 20 game against Carnegie Mellon. Two of Cagney’s three scores came in the final quarter as Ohio Wesleyan scored the final 17 points of the contest to seal the come-from-behind non-conference victory.
