GAMEOVER Task Force Arrests Cocoa Armed Robbery Suspect

BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – The Brevard County Sheriff’s Office arrested Kelvin Bernard Summage Jr., 23, of 4315 Ponds Drive in Cocoa, for an armed robbery that occurred at a Cocoa Raceway gas station.

On December 15, at approximately 10:35 p.m., deputies responded to a robbery at the Raceway gas station located at 3555 Highway 520 in Cocoa.

The suspect had entered the Raceway gas station, displayed a silver colored handgun and demanded money from the cash register. The cashier was forced to give the suspect the money and the suspect exited the store on foot heading south on S. Burnett Road.

INVESTIGATION CONFIRMS  SUMMAGE AS SUSPECT

The next day, Brevard County Sheriff’s Agents received information identifying the suspect as Summage. An investigation by Sheriff’s Agents then confirmed the information and an Arrest Warrant was obtained.

A search of Summage’s Cocoa home located a revolver, cash and clothing – all believed to be used by Summage during the robbery.

Summage was located and arrested by agents from the GAMEOVER Task Force at a Titusville residence. Summage subsequently provided information further linking him to the Robbery.

Summage was charged with Armed Robbery with a Firearm and Grand Theft and is currently being held at the Brevard County Jail Complex on a $105,000 bond. He is suspected of committing several other robberies at convenience stores in the Cocoa area during 2013.
