321 Elite Football Tryouts To Be Held In Rockledge Today

Parisi Speed School teaming up with 321 Elite

BREVARD COUNTY  • ROCKLEDGE, FLORIDA — The 321 Elite will host their 3rd Annual Elite 7v7 tryouts on Sunday, Jan. 5, beginning at 12 noon at Rockledge Park, located at 960 Cogswell Street in Rockledge. Local football players can participate for $20.

According to organizers, this year’s tryout is unique as Parisi Speed School is teaming up with 321 Elite to assist in training the athletes.

The event will have three phases including: Media Day from 12 noon to 1:30 p.m.; Combine from 1:30 to 3 p.m.; and skill position training, 7v7 team play and lineman competition from 3 to 5 p.m.321-elite-300

MEDIA DAY

Media Day will be an opportunity for the class of 2014 athletes to update their current recruiting status as well as class of 2015, 2016 and 2017 athletes to begin their recruiting process.

COMBINE

Parisi Speed School will run the combine as athletes will be professionally tested on their 10, 20 and 40 yard dash times; along with their vertical jump height, broad jump distance, pro agility time and bench press.

In addition, each player will have their 40-yard dash filmed and broken down with slow motion technology to analyze where they can improve their time.

Organizers said that any athletes who are looking for objective, professional testing of their combine scores as well as industry leading techniques and film analysis to improve their scores need to attend.

7v7 & LINEMAN

Athletes will be put into groups and rotated into competition as teams. Athletes will be notified via phone if they have been selected to represent the 321 in elite 7v7 and Lineman competition.

SCHEDULE
• Media Day: 12 noon – 1:30 p.m.
• Combine: 1:30 – 3 p.m.
• 7v7 & Lineman Drills: 3 – 5 p.m.; Combine testing will include 40-yard dash, LASER 10 and 20-yard split, bench press (185 pounds), vertical jump, broad jump and shuttle run.
