Corey Hall Arrested On Lewd and Lascivious Battery Charges

ABOVE MAP: According to the Melbourne Police Department, earlier this year, Corey Hall, 29, befriended a 15-year old female at Shiloh Christian Center located at 3900 Sarno Road in Melbourne. Over the next few months, the two exchanged phone calls and text messages and Hall sent the juvenile explicit pictures and/or videos via his cell phone.

BREVARD COUNTY • MELBOURNE, FLORIDA – Corey Lamar Hall, 29, of 1015 Line Street in Melbourne was arrested on May 29th at his home and charged with Lewd and Lascivious Battery (older than 12, but younger than 16 years of age), Lewd and Lascivious Molestation, and Transmission of Pornography via Computer to a Child.

According to the Melbourne Police Department, earlier this year Hall befriended a 15-year old female at Shiloh Christian Center located at 3900 Sarno Road in Melbourne. Over the next few months, the two exchanged phone calls and text messages, and Hall sent the juvenile explicit pictures and/or videos via his cell phone.

According to the Melbourne Police Department, on May 8, after attending a church function, Hall committed a lewd and lascivious molestation act on the 15-year old juvenile victim. The communication between Hall and the juvenile continued until May 19 when it was interrupted by a family member of the juvenile.

When confronted, the juvenile told the adult about the relationship and they reported the May 8 incident to the Melbourne Police Department.

After completing the investigation, Hall was arrested on May 29 at his home. He was taken into custody without incident and charged with Lewd and Lascivious Battery (older than 12, but younger than 16 years of age), Lewd and Lascivious Molestation and Transmission of Pornography via Computer to a Child.

According to the Melbourne Police Department, Hall was transported to the Brevard County Detention Center.
