Fatal Accident On I-95 Near Port St. John

BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA — Florida Highway Patrol is on the scene of a multi-vehicle accident on northbound I-95 near mile marker 210 near Port St. John.
UPDATE: FHP reports a teenager was killed in the accident.
According to FHP public information officer Kim Montes, Amanda Blackshaw, 42 of Titusville was driving her Chevy Impala south on I-95 in the center lane, while John Jenkins, 42 0f Titusville was driving his Toyota SUV southbound in the right line.
For an unknown reason, Blackshaw’s Imapala struck the left side of Jenkin’s SUV. Jenkins left the roadway and came to rest on the shoulder. The right side of Blackshaw’s car then struck the left rear side of an abandoned Ford pickup truck.
Blackshaw was airlifted to Holmes Regional Medical Center with serious injuries and her 13-year-old son was killed in the accident. Jenkins suffered minor injuries and is at Parrish Medical Center in Titusville.
FHP continues to investigate the crash.
