We Couldn’t Stay Away From This ‘Spacetacular’ Place
BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – Nancy and Drake Lundell, the founders and original owners of SpaceCoast Living magazine, are joining forces with Maverick Multimedia’s SpaceCoastDaily.com and Space Coast Medicine & Active Living magazine to increase their coverage of the social, cultural and artistic scene in Brevard County.
The pair, who ran SpaceCoast Living from its founding in 2003 until January of 2008, will produce a feature called “Living on the Space Coast with Nancy & Drake,” which will run on both SpaceCoastDaily.com and in the magazine. They recently returned to Brevard after living for five years in the Washington, D.C. area.
We couldn’t stay away from this ‘spacetacular’ place, according to Nancy, who coined that term as editor.
“The area offers so much value and pleasure in terms of day to day living that can’t be matched anywhere else,” she adds, noting that even “modestly priced homes offer amenities and a way of life that would cost double or triple in other areas.”
Nancy’s experience as editor and owner of what was Brevard’s premier lifestyle magazine has provided her with a great deal of insight into the cultural, arts and homes in Brevard as well as its active cultural and social scene.
In 2005, under her leadership, it was honored with an award for reporting excellence by the Florida Magazine Association.
“We are excited to be associated with SpaceCoastDaily.com, which has clearly become the number one online destination for news about Brevard, with more local visitors on a daily basis than the second most visited site, according to Drake, who spent his earlier career as a publisher of computer magazines. “Clearly the whole publishing model is moving online and SpaceCoastDaily.com is the leader in this area.”
PROMOTING THE SPACE COAST
In addition to linking up with Maverick Multimedia’s products, Nancy is also a Realtor with Prudential Sterling Properties of Indian Harbour Beach and Drake, who is also a licensed real estate sales associate, serves as her marketing manager.
Their plan is to spread the word, encouraging friends, neighbors and former colleagues to relocate here as well as to assist local homeowners in their real estate needs.
As a Seniors Real Estate Specialist Nancy also understands the problems faced by empty nesters and other adults who want to downsize and simplify their lives.
